Kokodoo
Fulham, SW6

With hospitality projects, family is often at the heart. City-wide favourite, Kokodoo’s expansion from family-run food truck business to full restaurant site, is no exception.
Just a few doors down from the station, on Fulham Broadway itself, the generously proportioned site provided steady foundations for bold, complex design. Working in collaboration with the excellent team at Brinkworth, precision of installation was essential, to ensure that the cinematic, multi-material vision could be brought to long-lasting life.
We considered the layout of partitions, suspended ceiling, and a hard-working, utility-forward kitchen, without compromise on clean lines, and a restrained material palette.
As with the dishes which Kokodoo is known for, the finished product is deceptively simple.
Materials included ash, stainless steel and micro tiles. All of which prioritise sustainability, durability, and reinforce the calm, welcoming environment at the heart of what Kokodoo do so well. Completed in six months from first sketch to fit-out, the finished site has elevated the status of the client’s business, and remains faithful to the values of EastJr.
