Stainless Steel & Red Spanish Marble Kitchen | Clapton, London

The Clapton kitchen showcased an eclectic mix of materials and a diverse colour palette, all guided by clear directives from Tatjana von Stein (formerly Sella Concept).

This has undoubtedly been one of the most complex projects we have undertaken, guided by Tatjana’s steadfast vision and the continual consideration of budget constraints.

Key features of the kitchen design include red Spanish stone countertops for both the kitchen and the island, alongside stainless steel finishes that frame the dining room portal and complement the matching razor shelf. Fabric curtains replaced conventional doors, adding a touch of softness to the space. The walls were treated with a Bauwerk finish, enhanced by an extreme matt lacquer for added durability.

The kitchen features a matt curved island base, harmonizing beautifully with the mahogany parquet flooring. Given the intricate details across each room and the extensive amount of joinery involved, East JR was selected to manage the entire refurbishment. This scope of work included the transformation of an existing roof terrace, converting it into a functional dining room, thereby enhancing the living space and creating a more cohesive indoor environment.
